I've Got A Long Way To Go

I was 3 or 4 and still riding in a stroller. Me and Grandma at the park. I had on a yellow dress. I remember how nice the sunshine felt on my legs. 

I’ve lived in Oklahoma all of my life. I’ve never tried Eischen’s chicken until today. The drive is half the experience. I’m pretty sure that missing the exit and getting stopped by the highway patrol added to the anticipation of “The Best Chicken in Oklahoma”.  Luckily, we just got a warning and directions to the place. 

The chicken was tasty. I tore into it while it was still lava-hot, but that’s what the ice cold beer is for. I couldn’t help but wonder how much profit the place is making. They don’t have dishes or real silverware. Their menu is super simple. Loved the food and chill atmosphere. I will definitely be going back.

Life is different, get used to it. Things done changed and I’m along for the ride. 

What do I do? I just don’t know what to do with myself.

I have had really bad anxiety for the past two mornings. I’m taking my anti-anxiety meds and it’s still not helping in the morning time. I wonder why I’m always more nervous in the AM? I read that it’s your cortisol levels, and other theories. Still not sure. I did keep myself from having a full blown panic attack. There’s that.

Gotta go—reality calls.
